Miss Faye’s Pound Cake

Y’all do know that’s pronounced Mizzz Fhaaayz. You gotta put some some old southern into it! This pound cake is just sweet and buttery enough that you can go for that second piece with no problem. It’s perfect for porch sittin’ snacking or a proper after dinner dessert. Originally made for Instagram, it’s a quick video. It’s also a quick cake so it works out just fine. Our family LOVES it! I hope yours does too!!

Preheat oven to 275
Baking time 90 Minutes (may need an additional 15 mins. depending on your oven's heat dispersement)

Ingredients
3 sticks room temp butter
1 (8 oz. ) Cream Cheese block room temp
3 C. Sugar
3 C. AP Flour
6 Eggs room temp
1 Tbs. Vanilla

Directions
Cream butter, sugar, vanilla until smooth
Add flour one cup at a time, scrape the bowl after each cup
Mix well
Add eggs one a time, blend and scrape after each egg
Pour into non stick or greased bundt pan
Bake 90 mins at 275
